This website was created by Texas Christian University students in the Fall 2009 class of Television, Culture and Society, a special topics course in reality television.  The site aims to help reality television viewers better understand and think critically about the genre. 

Here, visitors can learn about the history of reality television, early examples of the genre, some of the ethical concerns reality TV presents, critics' reception of the genre, the pre-production, production and post-production practices that guide its creation, and much more.
